While mirrors were first created in the First Century during the Roman
period, it wasn't until the invention of glass blowing in the 14th century
that they were produced on a wide enough scale to be collected by royalty
such as King Henry VIII of England and the French kind Francis I. A mirror
made in Venice of medium size was as valuable as a country home or
even a naval ship but fortunately you'd needn't dip into your life savings
to afford some of our glam mirror jewelry, which adds an aristocratic
sheen to clothing both highborn and High Street.
